Gabriel Ryan was the representative that came to assess our basement. He spent a lot of time explaining the whole system. I had the best experience with Healthy Basement Systems. From the initial consultation with Rich who was very knowledgeable about basements and the various options, the company has to offer. On installation day, the workers were extremely careful and courteous while working in my home. They installed a pump and a dehumidifier. The Forman on the job was David and his assistant was Justin who were both very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I purchased a new house in November that had water in the crawl space. With that water, there was mold in the floor insulation. HBS came in and removed all water, installed a sump, removed insulation, cleaned mold then re-insulated and sealed up the entire crawl space. Previously there was 90%+ humidity down there, now it is held between 45 and 50 at all times. I have had other contractors (plumbers and electricians) in the crawl space since and they have remarked on how great and tight everything is down there.I highly recommend.

I have been using Healthy Basement Systems for over 15 years after having water in my basement. The water table under my home can get quite high after long rainy days...I found this company after some research and have had 2 pumps installed in addition to them refinishing my basement with the last pump install. HBS did an amazing job and were always professional and a pleasure to work with. I ask for the same tech to do my yearly services of the pumps as he has been here from the beginning and is familiar with my home. Bill Simons’s Healthy Basement Systems, recently completed two projects in our Huntington home. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.We first met with Eric, who helped us address basement flooding and leaking rainwater from our cellar windows. He was patient, knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of our questions. He was kind and thorough, spending a great deal of his time educating us about our options. Together we made a plan that fit our budget to ensure that water is never a problem in our basement again. I appreciate how quickly the crew was able to get started. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home; cleaning up after each day of work. So far we haven’t had any issues with water leaking and it’s been a relief to no longer worry when it rains.After the work was complete, Eric introduced us to Paul for an estimate for finishing the basement. My husband and I liked him from the start, he listened carefully to our vision and was able to create a draft of our dream basement. He worked quickly to get us an estimate and we appreciated the transparency of the cost of each step. He was able to provide us an itemized list of the cost of supplies and installation. He worked with us to keep us under budget without compromising our ultimate goals. For example, he suggested we run rough electricity and plumbing for a future bathroom and bar. It’s exciting to know that those are projects we can easily add in the future.Once the plans were finalized, Paul and his crew started quickly on the job. They showed up on time each day and worked diligently. Paul was sensitive to the fact that I was expecting my daughter on November 25th, and it was clear that he made every effort to get the job done fast without cutting corners. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and like to understand the installation process. Paul was beyond patient with me- always taking time to address my concerns. He constantly made himself available to me; both in the evenings and on weekends. I appreciate this so much knowing that he has a big family of his own. Paul was able to complete the job in less time than promised- and I am so grateful because my daughter made a surprise arrival on November 7th!The crews that worked with both Eric and Paul were excellent. They were polite and worked very hard, taking pride in their work. Denise In the office was also very helpful with communicating our payments and was always prompt in getting back to me. In addition to being professionals who do excellent work, the staff is genuine and kind people. My husband Rob and I couldn’t be happier with our new basement.
