This customer, just like many of our customers, takes pride in their basement. The customer has a beautiful basement that has been completely finished and furnished, with everything from couches to a fully equipped gym. When they realized the basement that they had worked so hard on was having water issues, they wasted no time and turned to Healthy Basement Systems to asses these issues. 

Our waterproofing expert, Mike Alexander, recommended that the customer get a pump system and a dehumidifier.  The pump system will keep the basement dry, and avoid any water damage to their basement furnishings in the future. The dehumidifier will keep the humidity low, alleviating any musty odors so common to basements.  The customer will always have a fresh, clean smelling basement!  They'won't ever have to leave that area of the home!

Basement Waterproofed and Walls Encapsulated in Locust Valley

The customer called Healthy Basement Systems with concerns after their basement was flooding during heavy rains. Rich Alexander, one of our seasoned system design specialists, visited the customer and did a thorough inspection of the basement. He came up with a system that will permanently waterproof the basement and insulate the walls. 

We first installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement floors. The WaterGuard will catch the water before it reaches the basement floors, and carries the water to the pumps. We then installed the SuperSump pump system in one area, and the UltraSump in another area of the basement. This will ensure that the water will be pumped out regardless of which rooms in the basement experience water leaking. We installed the CleanSpace along the walls to create a vapor barrier and cover exposed foundation walls. Lastly, we finished the installation with our patented LawnScape and IceGuard discharge lines to allow the water to be pumped out even if the lines freeze. 

There's no doubt that the customer can now enjoy a cleaner, healthier, and dry basement. Healthy Basement Systems is pleased we can solve Long Island customer's basement water problems.
