I'm so happy I chose Healthy Basement Systems. I needed to do some waterproofing prior to my basement renovation. I am so happy with the Job that was done. Steve and his Crew are true professionals. Led by Steve I believe it was Jorge, Jorge and Dave. They were super courteous, very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the products. I was excited to see the work getting done so I spent a lot of time in the basement with them watching the process. Every time I had a question they had an answer. It is apparent to me that these guys are trained thoroughly. Upon Arrival Steve reviewed the Job with me before they touched a thing. He answered all my questions about how the process works and once I was comfortable he set the wheels in motion. Jorge and Jorge got right to work clearing the path for the WaterGuard. when it came time to hang the clean wall they took the time to make sure it was affixed to the wall neatly and straight. They worked around every obstruction like it was no big deal. Dave followed up and made sure there was no part of my foundation exposed, creating a water barrier even better than I had hoped. If anyone I knows ever needs waterproofing I am going to recommend healthy basement systems and I will definitely tell them to ask specifically for Steve and his crew. Top notch sales team and install crew. Let it rain!!!

The difference in my crawlspace is as promised - "ilke night and day". I look forward to occasional trips into the space without a hazmat suit. More importantly, I am very hopeful that the better insulation in the now sealed crawlspace will mean no fear of frozen pipes.

A homeowner in West Hempstead, New York had a basement that would flood whenever it would rain outside, causing the homeowner to not use part of their basement, this was becoming a frequent issue for the homeowner, so they gave us a call to come inspect their leaky basement. After one of our specialists inspected their leaky basement they recommended having their basement waterproofed using our WaterGuard, TripleSafe sump pump system, and our SaniDry dehumidifier system. Our crew than came in and got to work by first installing our WaterGuard along the perimeter of the basement and connecting it to our TripleSafe sump pump system. WaterGuard works to keep your basement dry by capturing any water that tries to enter the basement and directing it to our sump pump system. As water enter the sump pump system it will be discharged out of the basement and away from the foundation of the home by one of three pumps. Our first pump that's located inside our system is our primary pump, this pump is designed to handle most of the water the enters the system. In the event, the primary pump was to ever get overwhelmed with water or ever failed, our secondary pump would kick on and discharge water out of the basement. The third pump that's inside our system is our battery backup pump, this pump is designed to kick on in the event the home ever lost power during a bad storm, which will allow the system to continue to pump water out of the basement, keeping it dry even during a power outage. Our SaniDry dehumidifier was the final thing we installed on this basement to ensure it remains completely dry and usable, this unit is designed to filter any moisture, mold, or mildew from the air, ensuring the space is dry and mold free.
