We were experiencing dampness in our crawl space in 2012.. We had our Crawl space encapsulated and all vents sealed off by your company. At the time the salesman suggested also getting a dehumidifier. However because of cost we declined. In 2013 we had the same problem. I hired a mold inspector who made suggestions including a dehumidifier and some requirements for whoever cleaned the crawl space. I called Ian Silvers for a proposal. It was acceptable for me but the mold inspector wanted some additional testing requirements that Ian felt were unnecessary. The mold inspector suggested another company who met her requirements and I requested they buy and install the Dezair1100 product (highest rated by allergy buyers club) which was basically the Sani Dry CX in a different color. The mold inspector requested I keep the crawl space at 43% rel humidity. Within 6 months the dehumidifier broke. I had to pack up and ship it out for repair (covered under warranty) but a cost to remove and re-install by cleaning company. The machine broke 2 additional times and the manufacturer sent me a re-conditioned and finally a new machine that I and family did the re-install. i learned the hard way. When you need a expensive quality dehumidifier, you should work with an authorized distributor to handle repairs. We wasted at least $6, not installing the dehumidifier in 2012 and not using your company in 2013. a lot of money for retirees.
