Basement Remodeling & Moisture Control in Centereach, NY
Challenge
This homeowner in Centereach, NY wanted to update their existing basement and make it a more comfortable and usable space. They were looking to improve the basement's walls, flooring, ceiling, and windows while also addressing moisture and humidity concerns. Solution
Healthy Basement Systems updated the basement with an EverLast Perimeter Wall System and new partition walls to give the space a cleaner, finished look. New ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring and tile were installed along with a drop ceiling to complete the basement's interior. The project also included three new EverLast basement windows, updated stair coverings, and decorative post surrounds. To help control moisture and humidity, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed with a ducting system to help keep the basement air dry and comfortable. Together, these improvements help create a more comfortable, finished basement while making it easier to manage moisture.
