Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Nesconset, NY - Waterproofing a Basement with Drainage System & Vapor Barrier

Challenge

This homeowner had an old waterproofing system that was installed to keep the basement dry. Water was still coming into the basement causing a lot of damage. He wanted to finish it but first called us to fix the water problems.

Solution

The damage to the floor was severe and thus the floor needed to be completely removed. We then removed the old waterproofing system that was clogged. We installed our WaterGuard drainage system along with 2 sump pumps; SuperSump and TripleSafe. We then encapsulated the entire basement - even up the walls. The pictures show that all is now ready for them to pour the cement for the new floor.
