Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Waterproofing an Unfinished Basement in Saint James
Challenge
Mr. J called us in because water was leaking through his basement walls. This was mostly happening during and after heavy rain. After a thorough inspection of the basement, Rich Alexander, one of our expert System Design Specialists, was able to identify the exact location and reason for the water infiltration. After locating the lowest point in the basement, Rich designed a system that will provide a permanent waterproofing solution.
Solution
Deon Frisbie and our expert installations team dug a small channel along the perimeter of the unfinished wall. They installed our patented WaterGuard XL and TrenchDrain systems, which catch the water before it hits the basement floor and guides it into the SuperSump pump system that we installed. The SuperSump then pumps the water out through the discharge lines.
