Healthy Basement Systems Case Studies: Crawlspace Waterproofing & Insulation Repair in Brightwaters

Challenge

A customer called Healthy Basement Systems regarding water in a crawlspace. We sent Rich Alexander for an inspection, and he knew just what to do to keep his basement dry!

Solution

Richard Fernandez and his crew began the project by eliminating all of the mold from the area with CleanStart Plus. Upon removal of the insulation that was falling off, they installed our antimicrobial CleanSpace wall system liner and drainage matting to create a vapor barrier that will separate the home from any dirt or insects from the client's crawlspace. They installed our patented UltraSump and Smart Sump waterproofing systems to replace the old sump pump, drain water more effectively, and ultimately protect against flooding. Noticing that the client's floor joists and girders were weakened by the effects of excessive moisture, we were able to replace them with our own heavy-duty SmartJack system and supplemental beams that will provide the crawlspace with the stability it will need long-term.

Healthy Basement Systems gave this crawlspace a total makeover. As a result, the homeowner is now enjoying a much healthier space!
