Bill has a great understanding of the importance of a dry basement having experience in General Contracting. He became interested in basement waterproofing during his tenure in Real Estate after witnessing the decreasesd value of houses with wet basements. As the owner, he brings a focused approach to each job and is a true professional.
This home in East Rockaway had a wet basement due to water seepage through the foundation. We developed a three-part solution: our TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System along with our WaterGuard® drainage system, and our SaniDry™ XP Basement Air System. Together, these products resulted in a dry basement and a happy homeowner!
This is a Before and After of an Egress window installation to replace an old basement window.
This crawlspace was dingy and cold in Freeport and the homeowners wanted to make it healthier, warmer space. We installed SilverGlo to insulate the space and followed up with CleanSpace to create a moisture barrier between the crawlspace and home upstairs.
WaterGuard, a below floor drainage system, was installed along a wall with many obstructions. We also fit a sump pump in the area to drain all water collected.
A wet foundation kept the basement of this home in Garden City damp and musty. This called for our three-part solution: a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System along with our WaterGuard® drainage system around the entire perimeter of the basement. Lastly, we installed our SaniDry™ Dehumidifier and Air System. The final result was a dry basement that eventually became additional living space for the family.
This homeowner was experiencing water seeping through their walls and floors. We put our WaterGuard system in to prevent further flooding.
We were contacted by the realtor for the customer, who was selling the home. The realtor, having done a great deal of work with us, knew to call Healthy Basement Systems right away regarding this estate home.
The walls of the foundation were bowing, and the client needed the house to look good so it would sell quickly. We stabilized all the basement walls with our heavy steel PowerBrace product, which will support the foundation for the life of the home. The walls were painted white, so they would look better, and the home sold quickly. Success!
This homeowner had mold growth throughout his home. We did a complete mold clean up with the Anabec System.
This homeowner's crawl space was filled with littler and debris. Our crew assisted the homeowner in emptying the space and preparing it for encapsulation.

We gave this homeowner's basement a semi finished look using our ZenWall wall system. ZenWall can give a basement a great makeover that is more ascetically pleasing.
This homeowner called in with water issues and was looking to fix and finish basement. We installed WaterGuard, a below floor drainage system, as well as a vapor barrier on the walls.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed on the basement wall to help leaks drain into the also newly installed WaterGuard drainage system. WaterGuard will direct all ground water seepage into the nearby sump pump.
This very large crawlspace had debris and dampness in the space. We cleaned and dried our the space then insulated the walls with SilverGlo and put Drainage Matting down. We then encapsulated the entire space to create a moisture barrier.
This customer was having issues with a bowing foundation. The owner of Healthy Basemernt Systems, Bill Simone, personally assisted this customer with his foundation issues.

We completely encapsulated this crawlspace with CleanSpace vapor barrier and also added SilverGlo insulation panels around the full perimeter.
This sandy crawlspace needed a full encapsulation. We used CleanSpace to create a vapor barrier between the exposed sand and the rest of the home. The upper levels will now experience less humidity and drafts.
This homeowner was looking to sell their home but needed to make some improvements first. We remediated mold and improved the support in their crawl space.
This customer had a very unhealthy crawlspace complete with standing water. We helped the homeowner dry the space by fully encapsulating it and installing a sump pump to keep water out in the future.
This homeowner wanted to replace a failed attempt at waterproofing and insulating his crawlspace. First, we removed the old materials and shored up the joists with our SmartJack® Crawl Space Stabilizers, then we used our patented CleanSpace® Crawl Space Encapsulation System to make this crawlspace clean and dry, and the floor above it warmer.
To help this homeowner better insulate their basement space, we installed ThermalDry wall product. Their basement is now less cold and uninviting.
This crawl space was dirty and smelly before the Healthy team got there. It had a plastic 6 mil liner that was definitely not doing the job! Our team completely encapsulated the space with a new vapor barrier, CleanSpace.
This crawlspace needed some serious attention! Our crew removed an old, inefficient vapor barrier and a lot of debris. They then installed our CleanSpace liner that will prevent any further moisture from making its way into the living room above.
This was an old crawlspace that needed a complete clean out and new insulation and vapor barrier installed.
Our customer purchased this house with the intent to renovate and resell. While the house was on the market, many of our customer's potential buyers noticed the severe leakage and water table issues within the basement/crawl space leading them to seek other homes. As the #1 Waterproofer on Long Island, our customer requested us to develop a system that would create a safe and healthy environment for this basement/crawl space. Our experienced systems design specialist Michael Alexander initially recommended a full perimeter waterproofing system, however he and Bill Simone collaborated with our customer to create a custom solution for the water seepage.
After deciding on a CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation led by foreman Larry Foster, this system was able to drain the existing leaks and stop the water vapor from continuing to permeate through walls. Furthermore, a sump pump was installed to efficiently pump out the water through the discharge line. The efforts made by Healthy Basement Systems helped sell this house while also creating a safe and healthy environment for our customer and future home owners.
Our expert installation team at Healthy Basement Systems installed our patented BrightWall Paneling System on the walls of our customers' basement in Saint James. The BrightWall provides a clean, bright finished look to their basement walls while stopping water vapor from permeating the walls and draining any leaks down to the water management system.
There was continuous water coming into this homeowner's basement. To rectify this situation we cut the walls to install WaterGuard, our perimeter drainage system.
For basements that are uncomfortable, installing a SaniDry Dehumidifier can be very beneficial. This homeowner was having issues with humidity in their basement and decided to correct it with our air purification system.
The customer called us in to remediate the mold in their basement as well as to waterproof the basement so it stays dry and healthy all the time. The basement had high humidity which contributed to the mold problem along with water entering the basement through the imperfect joint where the wall meets the floor. The mold was the cause of the musty smell in the basement, which was visible on the walls. More importantly it was an unhealthy environment to raise a family in.
In the end, we killed all the mold, installed our patented WaterGuard system along with a SuperSump pump system, and installed our patented SaniDry dehumidifier. Lastly, we installed our patented ZenWall Basement Paneling System which will keep vapor out and give a clean, finished look to the walls. The musty smell was instantly reduced, and a few days later was gone. The customer was extremely happy with the system installed, and the end results!
This poured foundation wall was not poured correctly. It now needed to be supported from inside the basement to prevent a further bow in the wall.
