The second pump inside our system is our secondary pump, which will kick on in the event the primary ever became overwhelmed with water or ever failed. The last pump inside our system is our battery backup system, which will kick on in the event the home ever lost power during a bad rain storm, this battery backup system would kick on and continue to discharge water, keeping the basement completely dry and usable.
