We needed a service call on our waterproof system when I called the office I spoke with Ashley who could not have been nicer or more helpful. Your serviceman Brian, was probably one of the most capable people I have ever had come to do work in my house. He called to tell us he was running late. He was so very pleasant & helpful. Water In Basement Repair in Nesconset, New York

A homeowner in Nesconset, New York had a basement that was constantly allowing water to enter it, which was causing their basement to be damp, musty, and unusable. The homeowner was tired of living with this frustrating issue and decided to give us a call. After sending one of our specialists out to inspect their basement they recommended we waterproof their basement if they wanted their basement to be clean, dry, usable, and must-free. The way we waterproof basements is by our crew coming in and jackhammering out a trench around the perimeter of the basement so we could install our WaterGuard system. Our WaterGuard system works by capturing any water before it can enter the basements and directs it to our sump pump system, which will then remove the water from the home and away from the foundation of the home. After our WaterGuard is installed we cement over it so you won't even know it's there, as water enters our sump pump system it gets discharged out of the home by one of three pumps. The first pump in our system is our primary pump, which is designed to do most of the heavy pumping, the second pump in our system is our secondary pump, which will kick on in the event the primary becomes overwhelmed with water or in the event the primary was to fail. The last pump in our system is our battery backup pump, which will kick on and keep the basement dry even if the home lost power during a bad storm. To get rid of the musty basement smell in this basement we installed our dehumidifier in the crawl space which will remove moisture, mold, or mildew particles from the air, helping to remove that musty smell and improve the overall air quality in the space. Now this homeowner has a basement that will remain completely dry and usable for many years to come.

Our team was able to make this crawl space clean, dry, and usable by encapsulating the crawl space with our vapor barrier material. The way we encapsulate crawl spaces is by first laying down a layer of drainage matting which separates the crawl space from the earth while still allowing any water or moisture to flow under it. On top of the drainage matting, we put our vapor barrier that stops water or moisture from entering the crawl space while making to space clean, bright, and usable. To make this crawl space energy efficient we insulated the walls with our SilverGlo insulation which will reflect heat back into the space while also acting as a vapor barrier. To ensure this crawl space remains completely dry all the time we installed our dehumidifier in this crawl space which will filter out any small mold particles along with any moisture that's in the air and self-discharges that moisture back outside leaving this crawl space completely clean, dry, and usable.
