Hi Sean! I wanted to say again that we're really pleased with how everything turned out in our basement. You know we had those couple of days of heavy rains, and we didn't get any water in the basement - but that extra patching that Carlos did around our septic pipe in the foundation, we saw about a 4 inch diameter wet spot form in that new concrete but no water ever actually came through. Carlos suggested that we get someone to come out and look at our septic venting situation, since we shouldn't just have holes in the outside wall for that! So maybe we'll talk to whoever those folks are about why there might be water buildup under the line like that... but overall everything seems to be holding up! We're really looking forward to starting the process of finishing the basement next year. :D

The true test will be when the area the water infiltrated the basement stays dry thru all scenarios that previously allowed water in. If the area stays dry by the installation of the water guard and dry well then I will be totally satisfied.

Fixing Basement Water Issues in Mount Sinai, NY

We received a call from this homeowner in Mount Sinai, NY who was concerned about the water the was entering their basement whenever it would rain a lot outside, they gave us a call to come inspect their basement issue. Our system design specialist came out and inspected this homeowners basement issue, after inspection they determined that water was entering the basement through the walls and floor of the basement. Our team determined that by installing our Waterguard , TripleSafe, and CleanSpace wall system would solve this homeowners basement issues. To protect this basement we installed our Waterguard system around the perimeter of the basement, Waterguard works by capturing any water before it can enter the basement and directs the water into our sump pump system. To handle any water that might have been entering through the walls we installed our CleanSpace Wall System which gets pinned to the foundation wall and tucked in behind our WaterGuard, which directs any water or moisture down into our WaterGuard system. To make sure this basement remained dry we installed our TripleSafe sump pump , which comes with three separate pumps inside to ensure water is being effective pumped out. After the crew was done and a couple days went by a bad rain storm hit Long Island and this homeowner couldn't have been any happier to discover that their entire basement remained completely dry and usable.

Poor Gutters Lead To Basement Leak

This homeowner noticed water in their basement after a very heavy rain storm and gave us a call thinking they had a basement leak. Upton our team's inspection we couldn't find any evidence that they were having a basement leak issue and decided to check the gutters. After inspecting the gutters our team noticed that they had a lot of debris stuck in their gutters, this debris was slowing down the flow of water causing water to back up in the gutter and overflowing over the side of the gutter. This was causing a big pool of water to form against the foundation which eventually allowed water to enter the basement. We were able to fix this homeowner's basement and gutter issue by installing our raindrop gutter guard product over the gutters which will stop debris from entering the gutter and backing it up.
