From start to finish the entire project was well handled and managed. The additional work needed for electrical and plumbing that I needed done was completed by licensed professionals recommended by the project manager. I was very satisfied with all the work that was completed. The dehumidifiers, sump pump and healthy space crawl space liner are great. This homeowner in Copiague, New York had a basement that would allow water to enter the space whenever it would rain a lot outside, causing parts of the basement to not be usable with the fear the basement would flood and ruin any valuables stored in that part of the basement. The homeowner was tired of living with a leaky basement and gave us a call to come inspect their basement. After one of our specialists went out to inspect the basement they determined that the best way to make their basement dry and usable would be to install our basement waterproofing system in the basement. The way our system works to keep the basement dry is by our crew first coming in and installing our WaterGuard system, which is designed to capture any water that tries to enter the basement and directs it to our sump pump system, which than discharges the water back outside and away from the home. Our TripleSafe sump pump system comes with three different pumps to ensure the basement remains completely dry and usable. The first pump in our system is our primary pump, which will handle the majority of the water that enters the system and discharges the water away from the foundation of the home. In the event, the primary pump was to ever become overwhelmed with water or failed the secondary would kick on and keep the basement completely dry. The last pump in our system is our battery backup pump, which will kick on in the event the home ever lost power and would continue to discharge water away from the foundation of the home, while keeping the basement completely dry and usable. Now this homeowner has a basement that will remain completely dry and usable for many years to come.

We also installed our self-discharging dehumidifier system in this basement which will discharge any water out of the house while filtering out any moisture that might be in the air along with filtering out any small mold particles, leaving this basement clean, dry, and usable for many years to come.

Mr. V called Healthy Basement Systems to discuss their water problems in their basement and crawlspace. The home was located in an area where the water table rises and the ground underneath becomes saturated with water. The basement was not only damp but cold as well, and the wooden floors were absorbing water and becoming moldy.

We devised a system that would keep the basement and crawlspace dry all the time. We installed the WaterGuard piping system around the perimeter of the basement and crawlspace. We then connected that to the TripleSafe pump system which we installed at the lowest point of the basement floor. We lined the basement floor with ThermalDry floor matting to create a vapor barrier between the concrete floors and the finished flooring they would install later on. We also insulated the walls with SilverGlo and BrightWall. In the crawlspace, we laid out CleanSpace drainage matting and liner along the floor and walls to reduce humidity and put in a vent cover to seal out the space and reduce energy costs.

Mr. V can now enjoy a dry and healthy basement, and will never have to worry about a damp and dirty crawlspace again.
